Office 365 Initial Log In

If you have been issued a new Office 365 Account, you must log in the first time to reset your password and set your recovery details.

1. Go to outlook.com

Go to: https://outlook.live.com/owa/

Click on Sign in

2. Log In

Sign in to your Microsoft account - Google Chrome

3. Update Password

4. (Optional) Stay Signed In?

5. Set Language and Time Zone

6. Get Started

7. Forward Emails

In Outlook, click on the Settings Gear, then press View all Outlook settings. Or go to: https://outlook.office.com/mail/options/mail/layout

7.1. Go to Mail >> Forwarding

Checkmark Enable forwarding, Enter your school email address so that you can receive emails @hilohigh.org emails in one place. Checkmark: Keep a copy of forwarded messages and press Save

8. Password Reset Registration

8.1.

Enter another email you manage then click on email me. If you are a student or faculty member, use your @viking or @k12 email address.

8.2. Enter Verification Code

Check your email that you entered as your authentication email for a verification code. Enter it, then press verify.

8.3. Press Finish

9. Complete!

Congratulations! You now have access to your @hilohigh.org email address. After forwarding your emails, you will not need to check outlook very often, you can check your emails using your school email client.
